Who would’ve thought this was where this card would end up! I had a totally different plan initially but sometimes it’s just too hard to fight the idea once it’s there… right?
So, it did all begin with a door and it’s from the Penny Black Autumn Entrance stamp set. This is one of those sets that can really help build a fab scene and so that’s what I did.
Out came some Christmas Fun, not to mention the hedgehog from the Holly Jolly Critters set.
Now what’s behind the door?
And the bricks were from the Essentials by Ellen Abstract Paint Strokes stamp set (awesome set BTW), and a little teeny weeny greeting from the Mountain Holiday Stamp Set and I was done… phew! And ALL that began with a ‘door’ who woulda thought!
I did decide to film the process.

Your card is adorable !!! Both the front and the inside’s critters are so cute…. Thank you for the inspiration.
Isn’t that cute! I love your slightly interactive card and the little white bricks. I love watching you color with pencils. I need to get mine out soon. I have been mostly doing markers because it is faster. Great mixing of sets too.
Oh wow Therese, this is just so adorable!!!
I liked it! It’s so cute.
You are SO innovative and clever with your cardmaking! The simplicity of your card is outstanding, but the red door makes the card pop. Love it!
Charming card, love the red door! and an excellent video.
Oh my gosh!! love your beautiful and INTERACTIVE Christmas card Therese, the idea of cutting the door so we can peek inside and see the sweet little doggie is awesome, must CASE for sure.

I’m catching up, Therese … away from home at the moment and enjoying a wander through your recent cards … which are as gorgeous as ever! This is adorable … what a sweet scene … the hedgie is a cutie and I love the wreath with those delicious dimensional berries! Hugs, Anita 🙂
Aargh it has taken me a few days to get to stop by. Awesome card! Love PB hedgehogs.
This is so fabulous Therese, love the front door stamp, gives so much potential to a card. And of course the cute dog and christmas lights inside – perfect.
What a fantastic “semi-interactive” card, Therese! I love your red door and those two friends – so sweet! The white brick on the gray is wonderful too!
