Today I share two different ways to use the same Garden Picks 3D Flower Die set to create two different backgrounds. This is part of my Take 2 with Therese video series with Altenew and if you haven’t caught any of these videos before I have a link to my playlist with more inspiration HERE.
I started with a very 3D version and I added the colour to my flowers using some of the Altenew Artist Markers.
The sentiment for this card came from the Sentiment & Quotes stamp set and heat embossed with the Golden Peach embossing powder.
My second card uses more of an inlay die technique.
And this time I added a Halftone Hello die cut sentiment with a stamped sentiment from the You Are set.

This technique would work well with any number of 3D die sets and these cards were so much fun to make, why not try it yourself! Til next time, Hugs,

They are both lovely cards. I like the green veinless leaves. The vintagy card is very elegant.

I do love the different versions that you’ve created, but the second one is definitely my favourite. I think using the muted green and veinless leaves was a good decision.
