Today I share my first card using the Gina K Wreath Builder Template and how to’Mix it Up’ a little.
With no wreath in sight, can you also see that I have changed up the images using the template… I’ll show you how in the video linked below.
I started with these sweet flowers from the Build a Bunch Stamp Set.
Then I thought it would fun to add some critters from The Love Bug stamp set which was gifted to me from Christine from Experiments in Craft, thank you so much, it is such a fun stamp set!
You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at YouTube.

That’s a fantastic way to use the wreath builder! I was wondering if I wanted to use one, but don’t make a ton of wreaths, but I love this symmetrical background complete with critters! Fabulous card, Therese!
Great card. Love the way you have used the critters. That blue wash in background makes such a big difference. Thanks for sentiment tips.
That “wreath Builder” looks quite ingenious! I like how you explored other ways to take advantage of the tool…tfs, Dx

That’s it, thank you so much Di x
Great idea Therese, sweet card.
That’s so amazing and beautiful! I love how you used the wreath builder.
When I went to Gina’s store with some friends last Fall I bought the templates and then couldn’t get them to work right for me. I thought maybe I had to actually buy the images that they sell but after seeing you use other company’s products I’m going to give it a go again. Thanks so much, Therese for this video. BTW I’m sure that image is supposed to be a squirrel. Opossums have a really skinny tail.
I have the Gina K Wreath Builder and the Tiny Wreath Builder set that she did for Unity Stamps. I really like all the sets. Especially the Mandala set. I like your card a lot. But then again I always like your cards. I never tried using the wreath builder to make a non-wreath card. I like the concept and I will give that a try. Thanks!!
Cute card. I think that the little critter is a fox. Foxes have lovely bushy tails. i have the wreath builder templates and have used other stamps but have only tried wreaths. Will try your idea as the card looks great.
Thank you so much for this video.
The wreath builder was part of my Christmas present haul and I’ve made some wreath cards, some wreath like cards but I love the orderedness of your background. Timely video!
Cheers
Lisa
Oh wow, I love this!! Especially the addition of critters and the water colour wash background
This is so beautiful! I’ve got the wreath builder set but haven’t tried my hands on it yet! Thanks for the inspiration, creative use 🙂
Love this Therese, the colours and design have a retro feel which I love 🙂
xx
This is so beautiful! Love it!
Aw what a beautiful card. What a clever way to use the builder template.
I really like this different way of using the wreath builder stencil. The critters are the cutest!
Sweet and so pretty, Therese … what a great way to extend the use of the wreath builder! My eyes see that little critter as a squirrel (that tail!) or a fox (tail and pointy nose!) … though I guess as card makers, we can make it anything we want! Hugs, Anita 🙂
Great card, Therese! LOVE watching your videos…..I recently bought the wreath builder set, but haven’t had a chance to try it out ….. so you have inspired me to do it soon!
The cute little critter is a squirrel – the fluffy tail gives it away. That pointy little face looks similar to a possum’s, but possums have long, skinny tails.
Great video, beautiful image. I’m going with squirrel on the guess the creature if that’s any help to the voting hehe. Thank you for sharing these awesome design x
