Video : How to Create a Masculine Highlight Card!

Time for a highlight today and what funner way to do this than in a CAS masculine design.  Did you see the new release from Ellen Hutson, and guess what?  It’s time to dress a bear!

This set is Bear Ware 3 (and that means, there are 2 other ‘dress up’ sets) and I had some serious fun today!  So let’s dress this All Inside bear.

Lostinpaper - Ellen Hutson - All Inside - Bear Ware 3 (card) 1 copy

To help this bear graduate I coloured him with some Prismacolor Pencils onto a panel of Slate Gray Cardstock.

Next it’s time to highlight a BBQ and I have a video to share showing how this card came together.

I hope you enjoyed dressing up this bear today, this set made it fun and easy to create these CAS masculine designs.  I can’t wait to try out the bunny ears for Easter…   did you see them lol.  I’ll be back again real soon, Hugs

  1. Great card! At my house you would need a girl bear. My husband doesn’t even grill!! I don’t bother with fire though. It’s a gas grill. But it is a Weber! Not to be fussy but I would have colored the meat. LOL!

    1. hahaha, that was something that I was thinking ‘will I or won’t I’ and this time ‘won’t I’ won and the meat didn’t get coloured… but I think you are right, it would have made more sense (more sense than a bear barbecuing meat….)!

  2. I thought there would never be a Weber I’d love more than my own!! Fabulous ‘gleaming’ red grill, my friend! And the perspective you’ve given that graduate moves you to magna cum laude of the class!!
    Fabulous! xx off I go….
    =]

  3. Oh that bear is adorable! Love the add-ons and the typefont sentiments! So much fun! Love the cards you made and indeed we have te same Weber here in the Netherlands. Never used it… with three guys in the house I do not get the chance.. I make salads… (good ones!)

    1. I think that it’s wonderful that you ‘don’t ever use it’, there must be something about ‘men’ and BBQs lol. Thanks so much for your lovely visit yet again, Hugs.

  4. I’ve had the Weber grill, but these days, with just the two of us, I don’t feel much like spending hours fooling with ‘real’ fire. So a gas grill it is! Tell your hubs to try a corned beef low and slow on it…Yum! Anyway, these are two wonderful cards! The graduation card is amazing and perfect for a young man. But it’s that Weber card that’s going to blow up the card making world now – you’ve done it again! Might have to add the bear and all his accoutrements to my list! Have a great week. : )

  5. I’ve loved bear since he first hit the stage, Therese … and seeing him in all his latest glory here is brilliant! The texturiness (is that a word?) of his fur on the graduation card is fantastic … and how cool and stylish is he with that bright, shiny new barbeque … fantastic! Hugs, Anita 🙂
