WOW! It’s so easy to add colour using the new Mask Stencils from Altenew and for the release today I have made a video showing you just how. And if you are hopping along to celebrate the release then you should have arrived here from JENNIFER MCGUIRE’s incredible Blog!
I have 3 cards and one video to share today, starting with a very CAS Trendy Circle design.
I thought I would use some feminine colours to mix it up because this is normally a stamp set that I would use for more masculine cards, but not today.
My second card to me feels ‘classic’ Altenew with the Beautiful Peony Stamp Set and some bright Spring Garden Waterbrush marker colouring.
I added a subtle Baroque Motifs background embossed with Crystal Clear Embossing Powder and a Pure White sentiment from the Trendy Circles Stamp Set.
Now for the real fun, I couldn’t wait to try out these Mask Stencils to add colour, I must say I was a little doubtful that they would fit perfectly… that’s why I have to video linked below so you can watch the whole process.
I added a Sweet Friend stamped word as well as a Sweet Hearts Wood Veneer sentiment.

As much as I love flower stamps I am surprised that I loved your Circle card the most. I have been struggling with masculine cards this month. I need to make 5 of these this month.

A gorgeous trifecta. I love the soft colours of the dotted blooms. Also how you used the flourishes and the black background behind those gorgeous bright flowers. The first card is lovely and elegant.

Lovely! I’m so glad you opted for a girly version for the circles. The set does lead to masculine but you have shown another option (typical outside the box for you I mean that as a compliment!). Love the clear embossing on black cs. Great result.

I love your cards. The peony flower is my absolute favorite. It does have that classic feel. It has Altenew written all over it. You did a fabulous job with the watercolor pens, I have bought both the Spring and Fall sets and now I have found that it is my first thing that I pick up.
