Today I share 2 cards using the Altenew Beloved Memories Creative Kit. This is part of my Take 2 with Therese video series with Altenew and if you haven’t caught any of these videos before I have a link to my playlist with more inspiration HERE.
This Creative Kit is full of pretty things and that makes it very easy to create with!
I used Artist Markers to colour some of the beautiful flowers from the Cherished Memories Stamp Set.
I added an embossing paste Feeling Dotty Stencil background and a bold die cut sentiment using the You are Loved Die.
A couple of heart enamel dots finished the design.
My second card uses the same flowers and also a sentiment from the Cherished Memories Stamp Set.
This time I added a bold black element by popping a Creative Edges: Lace Die up on some fun foam

Wow! I love the bold black for the colorful cards! <3 Very pretty!!
thanks for showing how to incorporate large word dies into cards. Your design makes the ‘you are loved’ die look like it is a part of the design, not stuck on as an afterthought. Both cards are so pretty. I would not have thought to use the creative edge die in black. I have it, but always use white cardstock, guess I need to branch out.

I got so much inspiration from this video, Therese. I love the texture paste panel cut down like you did (I haven’t used paste in while) and the one flower left uncolored behind it. The black lace looks stunning on the other card.
