WOW! Things are getting hot round here (….couldn’t help myself), I am having such a great time embossing all the things that I have another 2 cards to share today.
I decided to take it up a notch and create my very own ‘glitter’ embossing powder… and you can watch the video linked below to see just how that goes for me lol.
Firstly, I created a glittery Dotty Stencil background with some Coconut Ice Embossing Powder. I added some Bright White embossed watercoloured Grateful Heart flowers from Altenew.
But my hot pink Mega T is the card highlight and this Fluorescent Tickled Pink Embossing Powder is TDF!
My second card uses the emboss resist technique and I just had to use the Clear Matt Dull embossing powder one more time.
I added another sentiment from the Crystal Frames Stamp Set and heat embossed this with the same Clear Matt Dull to give it a raised finish.

How do you change up your embossing powders? I loved that I could make them glittery…. sparkle makes me happy. I’ve still got more to embossing magic to come, so don’t hold your breath I’ll be back soon,

WOW ( 😉 pun!) great cards. Love the pink with the flowers. I’ve tried embossing like in the second with a stencil and didn’t get a great result (went under the stencil) must remember to try with masking paper – it would be a lot cleaner edge/finish!
Yes awful weather yesterday – like a dust storm when I went to the bank in the middle of the day. Unfortunately the recent fires are just the beginning – fearful what is instal for Australia from now through to the end of Summer.

That vivid pink “T” looks amazing against that dotted background and those pretty flowers. Those colors just work together beautifully. What a fun design! Couldn’t believe how well that Bristol CS held up with the watercolors. That was amazing to watch. The mat finish embossing powder really offers a fabulous choice as opposed to just shiny. Two great cards. Hope those fires get drenched by a nice rain. Stay safe my friend. xo
Stunning cards
I like the technique for the second card. I could try it with contact adhesive. The first card is very pretty and sparkly. I’ve been eyeing those letter dies, the serifs are classy.
