Sentiments can really pack a punch on a card and today I have 2 easy examples of how they can be used giving a toally different look. This is part of my Take 2 With Therese series at Altenew and if you haven’t seen these videos before you can check them out HERE.
My focus is on the Sentiment Strips 2 Stamp Set and I started with a fun ‘repeated’ technique and a monochromatic design.
I added some design paper from A Love For STripes Set A Paper Pack
and sweet little squirrel from the Spring Fling Stamp Set.
I used the same products in my next card
except I also added a ‘left over’ panel die cut with teh Mega Hello Die to add a negative space sentiment.
This time I wanted the sentiment to add some ‘boldness’ to the design I heat embossed it on white cardstock and popped it up on the card front.
