Have you ever looked at your dies and thought ‘I could make a card out of that’? Today we are stretching our supplies to have fun making SIX Shaped Cards! Welcome back to my Same But Different Christmas Card Series for 2020! Today is going to be a blast so let’s get started…..

My first 3 cards feature dies that are already shaped like an image… but I will also share some other options for your to create some fun designs with everyday dies as well.

Starting with this fabulous Modern Fireplace and Mantel Decor from Altenew. Seriously you can use sooo many image dies to create a ‘card’, you just need to take a look at what you have!

These cardstocks are from the new Concord & 9th mixed paper pack, I loved mixing and matching these colours. And the sentiment is from the Joyful Holiday Wishes set.

Next up is a fun die cut Christmas Crew – Girl Elf from MFT.

This time I added a sentiment from the Seasonal Say It All Stamp Set.

Who would have thought this Gingerbread Plushie Girl from Ellen Hutson could be turned into a card….

This sentiment is from the Warmest Wishes set (can you tell that I really liked this colour combo?)

Time to change it up and this time I have used one of the Tag Trio dies to create a card. But I took it to the next level and made it a Knockout Forest shaker…..

As well as adding the Deer Couple and my ‘homemade’ tassel.

Next it’s time to try out a nesting die and the Essential Circles was perfect to create my very own ‘bauble’ card.

Yet another handmade tassel and I have a video linked below showing how I made it! This time I have a simple Believe sentment from Holiday Snippets and I also added some Pinkfresh Crystals.

And my final design was created by simply cutting down a card base into a triangle…. no dies needed at all. I coloured my tree with the Mighty Corners Stencil from Altenew.

I also added a cute Purrfect Holidays kitty (retired) along with a fun sentiment from the Believe Stamp Set from Penny Black.
