Do you like stripes on a card… how about stripes on a Christmas card?… or SIX! Welcome back to my Same But Different Christmas Card Series for 2020!
I had such fun playing with these strippy stripes from Ellen Hutson but you could certainly trim your very own to whatever size that you like with a paper trimmer.
I chose some beautiful colours from the Concord & 9th Sampler Pack and stacked them up in all different patterns. It was very easy to do! But what makes it real fun is the critters that I added today starting with a polar bear from MFT’s Merry Moments.
This sentiment is from the Holiday Tag Talk set and I made it into a Chat Bubble.
My second card features a deer and tree from Ellen Hutson’s Santa’s List.
As well as a simple sentiment from the Modern Poinsettia set.
Next I thought it would be fun to die cut a ‘stippy’ sentiment using the Fine Alphabet Die Set from Altenew.
I added a sweet little mouse and some enamel hearts.
Time for some Christmas Cheers and a Sun-Lovin’ Santa flamingo.
I thought it would be fun to have the stripes featured in a negative space frame.
And here is a sweet little Penny Black hedgehog,
And a sentiment from the Believe set…. small sentiments work so well when you haven’t planned for anything else lol.
And my final design has the sweets little Kittens & Mittens cat,
with an ombre Hand-Lettered Holiday Greetings sentiment Speech Bubble.

I love the theme of stripes with these cards today. We all have bits and pieces of card stock squirreled away that we can’t throw out and this is a great and creative way to use them. Those little animals make a cute appearance on the cards.

ooh pancakes… I am trying to be good (too many Covid kilos lol) I have crumpets….. not the same but still a fave!
um yes definately Covid kilos here – no walking to the train since the start of the year, no lunch time walking for 4 months! oh and things like pancakes! Had my first day back at work this week since the start of stage 4. Youngest daughter has actually made an ab workout for me! Not seeing any results yet though.
Great video. A fab way to use up all those little bits of cardstock if you don’t have the die. Agree don’t know how I ever stamped without a repositioning tool!
ooh I think I need your daughter’s ‘ab workout’ too lol. My problem is I would look at it with the best of intentions… we were lucky that our lockdown ended quite fast compared to yours at least I have been able to go swimming again. I am also glad to hear that you are back to work, what wonderful news!
The workout is crunchies, dead bugs, russian twists and one other that I can’t remember the name of! Plus push ups.
My family are swimmers too, except me, and it has been really hard for them not being in the pool pretty much since March. Recently they have been able to get a couple of swims in, (hubby usually swims 3 times a week) but they keep missing out on the bookings – demand is high and very few spots!
Back to work 1 day instead of 3 until further notice. I’m rather happy about that, one day is nice! I still might make a dent in that stash. 😉
The workout sounds like chocolate & cake names… except for the ‘dead bugs’ bit lol.
There is my problem I like the sweet stuff! Really must start practicing moderation now my metabolism isn’t what it use to be! The last exercise is toe taps if you want to give any of them ago 😉
