It’s Time for a ‘Minted’ Adventure into Asia With Catherine Pooler!

Did you hear the sad news? I was devistated……

Catherine Pooler is retiring 3 inks! Including one of my faves ‘Mint to Be’, but I had faith in Catherine’s decisions and after playing with the new colours which are more highly saturated, I had no need to worry. Seriously all that lost sleep for nothing lol.

These new products are due to be released on January 12th and we are heading for an Adventure in Asia.

Therese Calvird - Catherine Pooler - Lantern Festival - Ellen Hutson - Essential Circles (card) 6

I used the Lantern Festival Stamp Set on both card designs.

I added some simple shading with my Prismacolor Pencils.

My sentiment was die cut with an Essentials Circle die from Ellen Hutson.

My second design is very clean and simple,

and I think this one is my fave! To create my branch I used Copic Multiliners.

Minted is sooo very pretty! But I am not letting go of my Mint to Be, lucky I have a refill, so phew! Do you have a fave Catherine Pooler colour? I’d love to know what it is, please let me know in the comments below.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

  1. Love both of these Therese. I haven’t tried Catherine Pooler inks but I must say they do look good. Love the stamps you used too xx Aileen

  2. I do love Mint to be as well and am happy I have the refill to last me a long time still
    Gorgeous cards!

  3. Love them both, Therese! What a darling little lantern! I thought about you when I watched the release video thinking what will Therese think? Me thinks you and the new inks were Minted to be good friends!

  4. Lovely cards! However, we can’t buy the Mint to Be Ink OR the Lantern Festival stamps! Stamp is only available to select customers. Hmm…

    1. Hi Jean, this is a pre release post, the FULL release will be available to everyone on January 12th, only one more sleep! Thanks so much for your lovely comments, Crafty hugs Therese

  5. I only have the mini inks and wish I had gotten the refill but . . . I’m not sure of a favorite color but I sure do like how Mint to Be colored those dainty lanterns.

  6. Love CP inks and Mint to Be is my absolute favorite — I have a refill, but went and bought another as soon as I heard that it would be retired. Now, I’m sad that I didn’t get two when I had the chance. Minted looks good, but it is no Mint to Be 😉
Both your cards are absolutely lovely, dear Therese. Thank you for sharing your talent,
    Caroline
