Can you look at a stamp set and see other possiblities for it? Well, that’s what I have done with the Elegant Eggs Set, and there is not one ‘egg’ in sight 😉

I have some serious inspiration happening here over the next few weeks, did you see the recent release at Ellen Hutson? I wanted to share some FUN ideas with you using the Elegant Eggs Stamp Set. This set was created to make fun patterns on ‘eggs’ for Easter but why stop there!

Note, this stamp also has a ‘hot foil’ version, so if you are even more ambitious why not try these ideas with a little Hot Foil?

Idea #1 – Making a Splash!

I was looking at the patterns in this stamp set and thought the 2 darker groups of wavy lines could work as ‘splashes’ and then I remembered the fab little Trippin’ Split window Combi and just had to make this card.

PRO TIP: To get a two-tone stamped image use a stamp positioning tool. Stamp the lighter colour of ink first and then add just small amounts of a darker colour and restamp the image (I used this technique to stamp the sentiment in today’s card too).

I coloured it with Copics and popped it up on the card front. And finally, I added a fun speech bubble from the High Five Set.
