#OCCASIONS?
I have a ton of floral stamps, dies, and stencils, and when I took a moment to think about it, I realized how versatile they are for so many different occasions. With just a few small tweaks, you can easily adapt them to fit any event. Plus, they can be personalised for both the occasion and the person receiving the card.
Flowers convey emotions such a love, gratitude, sympathy and joy, so it’s easy to see, how they can fit all kinds of moments to create cards for. I have 20 ideas to share with you, but I know there is more!

Card #1 – Mother’s Day
Layering stencils are quick and easy to use, and I love changing up the colours to get a different look each time. This first card, is such a pretty combination of subtle blended colours and therefore, I think, perfect for a ‘Mother’s Day’ card design.
But change up the sentiment and it could be used for many of the card options listed above.
PRO TIP: Why not leave the sentiment off the design and add it once you know what occasion is, or who this card will be given to?
Card #2 – Birthday
Who doesn’t love Birthday flowers! And, for joyful occasions like this I say, bring on the bright colours to make it the happiest Birthday ever.
Why not take it a step further and add a personalised sentiment, you can either stamp or die cut a name or even use initials.
Other ideas to personalise a Birthday card is to use the ‘flower’ that is associated with their Birthday month, or what about using a favourite flower or a favourite colour?
Card #3 – Sympathy
Same design, but with a completely different vibe. This time, I used just the background plate without the stencils to create a more subdued look, perfect for occasions like this Sympathy card.
This style also has an elegance about it that would suit celebratory cards such as Anniversary, Wedding or even Engagement.
This would look amazing stamped in ‘black’ or even pale pink… OR, because it’s a Press Plate, it can even be foiled!
CHANGE IT UP! Don’t have a layered floral stencil background? You could easily get a similar look using a single image, along with some leaves and repeat it to create your own floral background panel. This could be done with stamps, stencils or even dies.
