I’m back again sharing another video as part of my Same But Different Christmas Card Series for 2019. And today I used the Snowflake Pattern from Penny Black 5 Ways!
It’s such an intricate design but stamped beautifully as it is a red rubber cling stamp and I started by creating a heat embossed background. I added a Crystal Frame,
and some cute critters from the Heaps of Happy Stamp Set. This sentment is from an older set called Hometown Christmas.
My second design uses the pattern as a frame.
This time I coloured one of the Snow Builders images and added a Holiday Snippets sentiment.
The next card has the snowflakes heat embossed again, but this time on red cardstock. I die cut the Reindeer Leaps,
and added a sentiment from the Merry Builder Stamp Set.
I used this mis stamped panel to create the following card and decided just to stamp the image and colour straight over top.
And I added a simple sentiment from the Frosty Hello Stamp Set.
For my final card I partially stamped the Sweet Sledder and coloured her with Prismacolor Pencils.
I added another ‘red’ snowflake die cut, but this time used the Jumbo Joy to add a seniment.
and the cards together
and another…

I love this series. There’s always a card for everyone’s taste. Have two favourites but they’re all lovely.
Cheers
Lisa
You chose such an interesting color palette and it really works. All your cards are pretty however my favorites are the joy and deer.
Such creative use of these stamps, Therese, and I love them all!
Wow Therese how fabulous these cards are with just the one stamp. You have shown us just how versatile it is in so many lovely ways. Beautiful!
Such a lovely collection. Love the stacked one and what a fab idea to heat emboss snow flakes onto the deer before cutting! The little girl is also a fav! love her expression and you always colour her so beautifully.
Oh wow, these are all adorable! You are so talented Therese!!
Oh my, these are all so sweet! Love them!
This is a great set of cards. The intricate snowflake stamp is very pretty. The white embossing on red for your die cuts looks amazing. I also like how you cleverly used that mis-stamped piece.
Yet again, some really unusual and pretty cards! I would never have thought of using a background stamp and then die cutting a reindeer from it! You’ve given me some great ideas! Thank you!
The little snow family being pulled in the sled is just the cutest image. Lovely designs all around.I like the snowflake frame die a lot too. Great job, as always!
I love watching this series, you’ve totally wowed me today with these awesome card designs. I’m having so much trouble finding somewhere in the UK that sells Penny Black stamps, such a shame as there is so many I would like to colour.
Hi Andrea, It can be difficult to find them in Australia too, thank goodness for online shopping lol. I remember my very first stamp that I saved up for, it was from Penny Black, I was living in the UK and it seemed ‘so expensive’ because it was wood mounted but I just had to have it! I did buy it online but am sure it was from a UK store… but that was a long time ago, and I still have it. Thanks so much for stoppping by, hope you can find what you are looking for, I do know that EH and SSS stock them, and I think that SSS has a special on postage over the Black Friday sales. I am trying to resist the sales, lets just see how that goes for me. Crafty hugs, Therese
I love each every card you’ve created and watching you is always such fun! Thanks for sharing, Therese, you ROCK!!!
It’s a joy to watch you create, Therese … and so inspiring! A wonderful quintet with a fabulous colour palette … each card is simply a delight … thank you! Hugs, Anita 🙂
Such different looks but each one so wonderful, Therese. Thanks for all your inspiration.
Gosh, I love all of these, Therese. Adorable!
I know, I know… late to the party AGAIN!!! We’ve been off on a fun adventure, but just so happy to come home to these sweet cards, Therese! Can’t wait to see… off I go…. weeee!
=]
Oh man, I really love all of these!!! But that little girl looking up from the bottom of the card is absolutely darling and brilliant.
