Did you know that you can use co-ordinating dies for more than just ‘cutting out’ an image? Today I share 2 ways to use them to which really gives them an edge…..
Welcome back to another Take 2 With Therese, this is my video series for Altenew and if you missed any of my previous videos you can check them out right HERE.
This big beautiful bunch of flowers from the Statement Flowers Bundle and is perfect for this technique, but you may also have other stamps and dies that could work with this idea too!

I wanted to show that this could be used in either a ‘landscape’ or portrait’ style card, starting with some Artist Marker brightly coloured blooms.

The sentiment is a combination of the Gradient Stripes Stamp Set and the Bold Thanks Die.

Both cards got a spattering of Ink Spray….

My second design is the portrait style and this sentiment is from the Hello and Hugs Bundle.

I added a few enamel dots,

as well as some design paper to both from the Essential Black & White Paper Pack.

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at YouTube.
Are you inspired to walk along the edge? lol. I hope you have had some fun here today. Thanks for yourvisit, Big Hugs,

Thanks for stopping by Michele!
These are gorgeous…. love the colors, the layouts, the technique! Can’t wait to give it a try. Thanks for another helpful video and all your inspiration!
Thanks so much Sue
Lovely. What a cute crafting partner.
She is a cutie for sure!
Loved them both Therese. Gorgeous colours on the first one and the black and white one is stunning.
Thank you Ina!
Both of your cards are beautiful, Therese! I love the style of coloring that you did, but find it so hard to refrain from doing more blending. As I said, I love it though, so thanks for the inspiration! The black and white patterned paper is wonderful with your bold blooms!
Yes, I totally hear you, it’s hard to ‘hold back’ sometimes lol.
How stunning, Therese… I’m off to get a cuppa, then settle in to watch your video. I am sure it will jump start my card-making today. 🙂 Thank you x
Hope you were inspired, or at least hydrated… I’m having amy first cuppa of the day now myself (ps it’s the best one)!
Love this technique, definitely one to try. Will have to watch the video again. Thanks for creating and sharing.
Brilliant cards! The large amount of white seems to make everything else pop. You make that colouring seem effortless. I like the colour- blended sentiment too. Perfect stamp for this technique.
I love the blended sentiment too, I often stamp in 2 tones but this works well for a die cut. thanks so much Christine!
I think the black and white edges with the boldly colored flowers make stunning cards. Therese.
Thanks so much Bobby!
You do gorgeous so beautifully, Therese! Both stunners … the bold, bright colour is fantastic with the black and white … love the loose look on the flowers … they have a real organic look! Hugs, Anita 🙂
Thanks so very much Anita, you are the sweetest!
