Handmade Flower Cards with Stencil Layering Technique! (+ Video)

Have you tried coordinating Stencils and Dies? Today I have 2 cards and a video showing how I did just that!

But before we start did you know that this video is part of myTake 2 With Therese series of videos that I create for Altenew? You can check out the full playlist right HERE for more inspiration.

Altenew - Hill Blossom Stencil and Die - Fancy Greetings - Nesting Slim Rectangles - Bold Bloom (Take 2 With Therese) 1

Today is a product highlight, it’s the Hill Blossoms Die Set which has a coordinating Stencil Set…. how COOL you say!

I love that thes cut right up to the edge…… even COOLer you say!

I created my frame for my mini slimline with the Nesting Slim Rectangle Die Set, and the sentiment came from the Mini Delight: Bold Bloom.

My next card uses the individual die cut flowers… what you say? You can cut the flowers separately? I know right! WAY COOL!

This time I did a partial die cut,

and added a sentiment from the Fancy Greetings Stamp Set.

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at YouTube.

I hope you are inspired to create with some stencils! Thanks so much for stopping by today, hugs,

    1. hahaha, if you are retired then you can always have a nap later on (after you’ve finished crafting) lol. For me, full-time work is keeping me out of mischief for a little bit longer….

  3. Love the pinks on that bold navy background! I love, love, love layering stencils! They make my crafting life so much easier……now if they could just make my work life easier 🙂

  4. Stencil with a die??? Game changer! I don’t have this stencil, yet, but I have the inks and another Altenew stencil. Time to create some lovely cards. Thanks for the inspiration.

  5. I’ve been watching your videos on my Firestick, Therese, so I don’t always comment but I love everything you do and it’s like you’re right here in my craft room doing it.

  6. How gorgeous, Therese … both of them … a delicious colour combo that’s so elegant … and designs that really show these lovely sprigs off to perfection! As ever, I do love to watch you create! Hugs, Anita 🙂

  7. Therese, these are simply stunning! I especially love the slimline. I have been making cards for about a year now and have still not made that size! This may be just the one to start with as I am in LOVE! Thank you for all your inspiration and shared talent!
