The Fairy Tale Florals Stamp Set is back in the store so I decided to use this amazing bouquet!
And for fun how about some Metallic Watercolor magic! I can’t tell how happy this shimmer and shine makes me lol.
I added an Antique Gold embossed sentiment from The Best Thing Stamp Set.
My next design is very similar but this time I tried mixing colours with the Metallic Watercolor.
My sentiment is from the Hello and Hugs bundle with a sprinkle of White Satin Sequins.
And yet again I used the Nesting Slim Rectangles Die… who woulda thought I would use this so very much!

Gorgeous shine! These could make great sympathy cards…..not great that you have to make sympathy cards, but you know what I mean 😉 Simple, and elegant.
Yes, I know exactly what you mean, I much prefer making sympathy cards when I don’t ‘need them’ so these would be perfect to recreate!

Ooh so happy that you were inspired to try, it took me a long time to get hold of some black watercolour cardstock (probably because there isn’t a real affordable version out there and I had to take the plunge lol.) but happy that I did. Hope you have fun Betty!
The watercolour colours seem bolder on the black paper. I like the the two tone green on the second card- subtle and gorgeous.
I agree, the black seems to make it ‘brighter’! I can’t wait to try it some more!

Absolutely lovely. Have been using the metallics recently, and love the effects. Just a heads-up on the mixing water – I let it settle for a couple of days, drain off the clear on top, then use the metallic water left to paint and repaint and repaint (leaving to dry between each paint) onto white or unbleached watercolour paper, to use as bases or backgrounds for future cards. The glimmer in the paper looks great, and worth the effort.
