Have you ever tried Colour Blocking? How about on Christmas Cards? Today I have lots of inspiration for you to try!
But first, this is my Feature Friday Post as Guest Designer at Concord & 9th this month. So don’t forget to check out my GD buddies, they are Channin, Seeka and Yasmin, you know that they are going to rock these sets!
My first card uses an ‘eclectic’ style of colour blocking, mixing up the ratios of colour.
I used the Fa La La Fringe Tree Stamp Set and Dies.
Next I did a more typical style of colour blocking and popped up this panel of gorgeous Concord & 9th cardstocks.
Then I added a Big On Christmas sentiment as well as some sweet enamel dots.
My final card was the funnest to make…. I used the Card Stacks Base Dies and added angled blocks of colour.
This interactive card could be used with any of your stamps, but I chose the Tiny Trees Turnabout (again lol).

Love this idea, especially with big sentiment backed either vellum!! Classy look and easy to do lots of cards.
I did double up the vellum to make it sturdier and used ‘Sticky Specks’ to do this… and you can’t see the glue at all! Here is my afflink (I forgot to link them above) but it’s to Sticky Dots which is a similar product as the specks are currently out of stock. Not sure if you’ve seen them before, they are great for ‘fine’ detailed die cuts too.

Unusual colors for Christmas cards, but they work!! Way to make your cards be the most noticeable out of all the cards your recipient receives.
So glad that you like the change up of colour Angie, I do like the more traditional options too, but sometimes it’s good to branch out lol.
Love this contemporary look. They’re so different. Love Concord & 9th too, always great quality and design. My favourite is the Love & Joy, it’s very striking. But then, you always make great cards â¤ï¸
