Are you ready for flowers? Today I have some fabulous, quick, and easy floral designs to inspire!
But first, this post is part of a Hop celebrating a new release from Altenew so you should have arrived here from NATHALIE’s wonderful Blog.
Today I decided to start with some no-line colouring using the cute Doodle Bouquet Set.
I added a subtle pattern in the background with the Dotted Geo Cover Die… and keep an eye out for a video I have very soon using this die in 2 different styles!
Which has a fabulous ’empty’ centre section which I could stamp one of the sentiments into.
Next I used the Artists’ Watercolors to paint this beautiful bloom from the Botanical Illustrations Set.
I used some Antique Gold Embossing Powder to add just a little sparkle.
And used a simple Bold Sentiment.
Now, take a look at the dimension on this! Yet another glorious 3D Embossing Folder.
This one is called Rose Bellevue, and I added colour with the Artists’ Watercolors once again.
As well as Sweet Sentiment.

Oh, that yummy watercolored embossing!!!!! I have done a similar thing using Altenew’s poinsettia embossing folder but added some shimmer powders to the paints. They are gorgeous. Just can’t go wrong with Altenew’s stuff!
You just plainly make it fun and an enjoyable experience to be creative. Oh my that rose and water coloring is so drop dead gorgeous. Only thing missing is a tutorial to watch your creative process and listen to that wonderful laugh! Along the way of viewing your work/tutorials you have taught me not to be afraid of “oops moments” – it’s just another happy path to your destination. Thanks for always inspiring and uplifting spirits….
