I’m a little partial to a cute critter… but head over heals with a modern take on something cute, how about you?
I’m seeing bunnies everywhere at the Ellen Hutson, and just in time for Easter, but it’s not just for Easter, many of these goodies can be used all year round, ‘check’ it out (get it) with my modern take!
Idea #1 – Let’s Make it Cute
Easter cards often have cute critters such as these from the Sweet Spring Combo. But you could also use these images for other occasions (keep an eye out for MORE inspiration coming very soon)…

especially if you change up the sentiment. The Ears To You Stamp Set has many other occasions to choose from, but it’s the combination of fonts that has my heart!

I decided to make this one a shaped card using the Essential Eggs Nesting Die Set, and added a sneaky gold hot foil element with the Elephant Eggs Set. Can you tell, I had a blast making this!

Idea #2 – Gingham Style
Oh my, but isn’t the winner of the day the background stamp Skinny Stripes? In 2 simple stamps I have the perfect gingham in any colour of my choice.

And I love the modern look that gingham has, even though it’s been around forever! I die cut the Sew Cute Bunny (and chopped off his legs, oops).

Then I added an All Inside Die cut heart and voila, I have a masculine card that I can send to someone I love!
