We were asked to be inspired by Pop Art so what better than a bright bold piece of ‘flamingo‘ art. And check out the retro sentiment, I think it’s POP perfect too!

#COMPLAINT

What do you do when you get a new medium? I usually swatch out the colours, and when I was doing this I got more and more excited. They are bold, bright, and beautiful, my only complaint is that there is a definite lack of bright orange 😉, seriously Altenew now I am waiting for Vol 2.

I was surprised how easy these markers were to use. They are opaque so I could literally just layer up the colours.

#CHEATMETHOD

Do you recognize this flamingo? It’s not stamped, I simply used the coordinating die cut to cut out the bird shape and then I used the markers to colour the die cut piece.

It was very EASY to do! The great thing is, that you can keep layering the Acrylic Markers over top until you are happy with the result!
