I love a beautiful floral card, but I don’t always love how long they can take. This one-go floral card keeps things speedy, while still giving you soft ink-blended flowers, embossed detail, and plenty of dimension

Kinetic Cards That Shine
You know I love making interactive cards! In this class, you’ll learn simple DIY ways to add movement to many of the images you already have in your stash, then join me live on 20th August to craft along and ask questions – with or without the kit.
Sometimes the right product can make all the difference when you want to speed things up. This set does several steps in one go, which means you can create the floral pieces quickly and still have time to add pretty details.
The other thing that helps is choosing a quicker coloring method. Stencils give you the flexibility to add a little color or build up more detail, without slowing the whole card down. Markers and pencils can be wonderfully relaxing… but they are not always the fastest option, are they?
Card Inspiration – One-Go Floral Card
For this card, I started by creating the floral pieces with the One-Go: Briar Blossoms set. I love that the flowers and leaves can be stamped, stenciled, die cut, and embossed so efficiently, because it gives you all the pretty detail without lots of separate steps.
I used soft pastel ink blending for the flowers and leaves, then popped them up over a dark blue-grey background to help those lighter colors stand out. The bold sentiment was heat embossed in white on black cardstock and die cut into a circle, which added a strong focal point without covering too much of the floral design.
A speedy floral card doesn’t have to look simple. With soft stenciled color, embossed detail, and a bold sentiment, this one go floral card still feels special without taking all day to make.
