Well…. I’m using an Epic stamp set and die, does that count? What a fabulous masculine set from WPlus9, all the guess work it taken out of it, mix and match and have some fun, I love it! And look here, is that bling?
Yes this is my final Cards4Men design and I’ve had a blast creating this mini series and with a bit of luck will be back soon with some more. Til then,
Here is my next card in my Cards4Men mini series and like I’ve been saying it’s all about being bold and bright and cas…. colour blocking is perfect on a masculine card and a great way to use up those scraps of cardstock (because you know if you use them up it means you can go shopping again, really!).
Back with another installment in my Cards4Men mini series and today I got just a little inky (which we all know is not my fave thing to do… I think maybe I have the wrong hobby lol). I had so much fun creating a watercolour background inspired by Kristina Werner, hope you like it too!
Welcome to my mini series Cards4Men! I’m so excited to finally have some ‘me’ time to create this as it was on my to do list this year and guess what, it’s July already, go figure. So I went to my card stash the other day and I really had no masculine cards to speak of so, opportunity seized and voila a card mini series was born.
When it comes to Cards4Men here are a few basic tips that work for me…
keep it simple
make it bold & bright
use graphic design
humour (they love this)
and keep it simple
use dedicated masculine stamp sets
use plain fonts
avoid bling, lace & ribbon (usually)
and did I say keep it simple
I thought I would start with a fun card using some Super stamps from Paper Smooches, these images can be used for men young and old, and they are fun to boot!
