I thought I would share my entry to the Embellish Magazine Paper Piecing Color Challenge with you.
I fell in love with the Basic Grey’s Tree Hugger stamp set when I saw Kristina Werner using it in one of her videos, the birds are just too cute. The colour combo just screamed ‘masculine’ card to me, and everyone knows just how challenging they can be! (I don’t mean men are challenging… just making cards for them can be)
supples: paper: cardstock, Bazzill – java, kraft, yellow, green, Basic Grey – Urban Prairie. ink: copic multiliner 0.3, Stazon – black, Distress Inks – Vintage Photo, Shabby Shutters, PTI – lemon tart. accessories: Klic-n-Kut digital cutter, chipboard, Glossy Accents, Bigshot, Tim Holtz – Woodgrain Texture plate, Ranger blending tool & foam.
And don’t you just love that paper that is the background for my photo. That is My Mind’s Eye – So Sophie – ‘Best Thing’ – I don’t want to cut into it!
Oh men can be challenging too:-)) Love the texture on this card. And I agree…that little bird is totally cute. So good to see you blogging AT LAST *lol*. Hope you enjoy the experience.
