I’ve been busy making a card for a friend to give to her husband on their wedding day. So I was thinking that it shouldn’t be too pretty if it is going to be given to a man, not too much bling – and I do love a bit of bling. Then I remembered a card made by Kristina Werner for MACM a little while ago and thought that this would be perfect. Thanks again Krisitna, you are so generous with your ideas and your videos are just fab! Well I know that the card was meant to use ribbon scraps – but bright blue was requested, this meant a trip to the local fabric store and now I think I have enough ribbon to make ten of these. It’s not a problem though as any cardmaker knows there is always a use for ribbon, and to be able to find the exact colour and type well that can take hours…
Have a wonderful weekend. I’m off to work soon.

supplies; Cardstock: Bazzill – Java, Kraft. Ink: Versamark, Computer for font. Stamps: Unity- grainy. Accessories: Assorted ribbons, Tombo Mono adhesive dots – permanent (I hope this will hold the ribbon), Heritage black foam squares, Glossy Accents (to keep that slippery little bow from becoming undone).
I think your friend will love it. That turquoise blue is my favourite colour. I must check out Kristina’s blog again…she does have some fab ideas. Have fun at work!
