Happy Sunday! I’m enjoying a relaxing Sunday off work…. yaaay, looking after my poor husband who is currently suffering manflu… not so yaay. It’s a terrible disease which stops absolutely everything in their lives for at least 3 days. I am hoping that my nursing abilities may just bring him through, we’ll just have to wait and see. I am coping by making a card for the current CASE Study Challenge which I am sad to say is Heather’s last Muse.

Supplies; Paper: Bazzill Cardstock – Kraft. Ink: VersaMark. Stamps: Autumn Leaves – Spring, Hero Arts – Flourish Background & Truly Appreciated. Copics: BG15. Accessories: Sizzix – Big Shot, Fiskars Stamp Press, Heat Tool, AC Zing Embossing Powder – Chestnut & Vanilla. Spellbinders Nestabilities – Blossom. PTI Vintage Buttons – Aqua Mist, PTI Felt – Ocean Tides, Carnival Felt – Walnut Brown, FaberCastel Polychromos Pencil – Cobalt Green, DMC Thread – 938, Kaisercraft Pearl Strip – White, DST, Foam Dimensionals.
You’re card is gorgeous Therese! It made me smile as soon as I seen it 🙂
I know from experience that manflu can be such a devastating disease…not only for the man, but everyone in the household *smile* Hope he feels better soon.
Beautiful card….love that embossed swirly background. So how’s the patient? Hope he’s not driving you too mad lol.
Funny how Manflu lasts three days. Womanflu lasts through one meal or 5 hours, whichever happens first.
And you are one of those nurses who can’t cure the common cold, I’ll bet, let alone cure Manflu. So how good a nurse could you be anyway? 🙂
But you sure can make great cards.
Bahb
Beautiful card, Therese! Love the flourished background and the wonderful embossing! Absolutely exquisite! I’ve also favorited one of your cards on Splitcoast. If you go into forums, under that is “General Stamp Talk”. There is a subheading there for “Favorites week ending 11/28/10”. I listed your last week’s CASE Study card there…it was just so stunning! Thanks for playing along with us at CASE Study challenges!
How lovely! I love the touch of felt and the dimension… Gorgeous creation, thank you for sharing with us at CASE Study!
