Simple Flower

So I am back for the last Caardvarks Challenge – to make a monochromatic card (couldn’t resist).  So I used some inspiration from the current Clean & Simple Layout.  It’s a good place to go when the mojo is low, the FTL sketches are always fab!  I had a little help from two of my nieces (ages 7 & 8).  They were visiting after a day at the beach, we have had sooooo much rain here in the past few weeks it has been wonderful to finally see the sun.  I thought I would also share the card that the girls made (with very minimal help from me – and a few token scraps lifted from the desk).

  1. Oh your PTI flower looks fab….love the texture/patterns on it. What a gorgeous springy card from your nieces too. Yaaay for the sun I agree:-)) Happy new Year to you Therese.

  2. love! love! love! this card…love that you are the most creative auntie in our world, who in your busy-albeit chaotic life-still found time, patience and pleasure out of spending time with two young girls who love you and appreciated the opportunity to create in this shared moment.
ps-just went out to get gracie $40 worth of scrapbooking gear-thanks for handing down the tradition.
