Using up scraps…

I embraced the current Embellish Magazine Crochet Trim Color Trends Challenge, that is, I drove down the street to buy some crochet trim only to come home and change my mind to use the one that I already had… work that out!  Luckily I also took the opportunity to take a swim, thus not a totally wasted trip & now I have some more trim for my stash.  Oh and I’ve decided that I am definitely the slowest card maker in the universe, even when I am using up bits of embellishments that I have already made, it can still take me hours to create one card!

  1. Glad to hear I’m not the only one that can spend hours on one card! 🙂 The hours were worth it though as this is gorgeous!

  2. I’m pretty sure I could give you a run for your money in the Slowest Cardmakers Olympics. 🙂 The result here is beautiful, though! I love the butterfly in the center of the flower. Putting that one in my memory file. Thanks so much for joining us at Embellish!

  3. your card is so pretty and happy. Love how u used the colors and the embossed sentiment is perfect.

  4. I’m right there with you… but I’m probably slower. I take forever to take my photos too… it’s the perfectionist in me! So annoying sometimes! LOL!! But your card is perfect and sweet so I’m glad you decided to play along with us!
