How awesome is Lucy’s sketch in the new Lily Pad Cards Challenge! I had a few ideas for this one but decided on simplicity in the end. One of my fab blog friends inspired me with her red phone and it’s been something I have been meaning to CASE, thanks Jen, your cards are stunning! Remember those old ‘shiny’ red phones… well, I do, I think they are the reason why Hero Arts made this fun set of stamps! Would you believe this is the first real banner that I have used on a card… I really like them, absolutely nothing against them, it’s one of those things I’ve been meaning to do!

Supplies; Paper: A4 White & Black Cardstock, Bazzill – Lava. Ink: VersaMark, Memento – Tuxedo Black. Stamps: Hero Arts – Just Saying Hi. Copics: T0. This is great! Love the red phone….though we never had a red one 🙁 You have certainly made it look like it is ringing with those lines (and I love how this ties in with the sketch!)

Thanks for the shout out, Therese! (And Jocelyn!) This card is soooo cute! Love the little movement lines to show it ringing off the hook – a perfect touch! 🙂 I may be CASEing you back…
