Whale of a Birthday!

Another nautical card…  obviously it’s a new trend that I missed, again!  This time it’s Jay Gee’s Nook Challenge, totally rad inspiration!  I chose the whale (see the stuffed toy in the top right hand corner), I’ve had this stamp for a little while and it was time he met some ink.  I was going to go all cutesy, but then…   didn’t.  My original vision turned out very differently to finished product, have you ever had that happen to you?

  1. You make the most amazing cards Therese. The patterned paper you have chosen works beautifully for this card – I just love the design – gorgeous! Thanks for joining in this month at Jay Gee’s 🙂

  2. Cute…Great use of the papers…I really need to be brave and use some pp! Love how your design is centred on a small panel in the middle of the card allowing more white to show. I will have to try this.

  3. Gorgeous paper piecing! Glad you showed that cute whale some inky love. 🙂

It’s rare that my cards actually turn out the way they look in my head. 🙂
