It’s a Play Date!

WOW!  Did I have some fun with the colours at the Play Date Cafe’s challenge this week!  I didn’t make anything ‘halloweeney’ (we don’t tend to celebrate it here in Oz, but we certainly love our sweets any day of the year!).  I won this awesome stamp and this is the first time I have inked it up, what a tragedy, anyway it’s happy now and so am I, I love it!  Have you also noticed that I’m also very fond of ‘black’ at the moment…   it’s the new… black!

  1. This is stunning Therese!! Love how you did the white embossing and the colors. Also it was very clever to only use part of that stamp – I have that stamp and will have to try that!

  2. Wow …. I loove this look on black, what a striking effect … those colours are just fabulous and yep, they sure do “pop” …. awesome job!!!

  3. That’s some amazing embossing Therese…I always get stray specks of powder on dark card that don’t show until you melt it!!!
Love the colours on the black card, fab pencils to show up like that 🙂
All in all a gorgeous card!!

  4. It’s about time black got to be the new black 😉 I adore how vibrant the pencils are here – I’ve always meant to try this and never remember once I’m crafting!

  5. LOVE that you didn’t make anything Halloween, Therese! We don’t celebrate Halloween around my house, either. Your creation is BEAUTIFUL! LOVE the way your white text and outlining really pops on your black base! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at The Play Date Cafe!
