Baby Girl

This another card I made a tutorial for at the Scrapbook Boutique Blog.  I’ve been having just too much fun with this tag and stamp set from My Favourite Things.  I also have some wonderful new cloud dies and have put them to good use to create the background using chalk.  I totally love this effect, and if you’ve been here before then you know that I’m telling the truth.  It was also super easy to create the ‘baby girl’ border sentiment using the Compact Fiskars Stamp Press, because it has a grid on it and is see through!   As usual I have linked all of my supplies below or you can just head direct to Scrapbook Boutique and have a look for yourself!  Anyway, here is the card…

  1. Super sweet card Therese!! Love the decorative papers and that great background of light clouds. For some reason when I make baby cards they’re always for girls!!

  2. Absolutely sweet! I love all the patterns on the onesies – and the background is swoon-worthy. I may have to pull out my chalks!

  3. What a SUPER Sweet card . . . I love the cloud effect. I have not tried that technique before, I may have to give it a go sometime soon. I really love how you made one of the “baby girl” words pink!

  4. I keep coming back to drool over that cloud background! It is so effective, and sets off the beautiful clothes line perfectly!
Receiving a beautiful card like this would make any new Mum weep with joy!

  5. Awwww..this is so sweet! You and Marion make the best cloud backgrounds…I don’t know how you make them so well! What a great way to use that onesie…it’s uber cute!
