Card Class -Triple the fun!

So this class was to make 3 different cards using the same stamp in various ways….  I’m not sure if I cheated but the stamp I chose is kinda a background and image stamp all in one, it’s ‘Flower Text’ from Hero Arts.  I haven’t had a chance to play  the challenge at The Play Date Cafe recently, but totally loved this weeks colours, so I used them to make the hug & kisses card, I couldn’t miss the fun could I?.  I’ve seen this little popped up hearts everywhere and they are sooo cute, this is my version.

  1. These are ALL gorgeous Therese! I particularly love the second card (coloured pencils on kraft – my favourite, hehe) you’ve got the pencil on so thick and creamy. Love it!

  2. GORGEOUS Therese, I didn’t realise that you had used acetate, what a super fun idea and your colouring looks great, no problem there!
I really love your hearts and kisses card, those pretty hearts popped up and embossed are simply divine!!!

  3. Took me a little while to figure how you had used the HA stamp in the first one – but just call me slow…I figured it out! Great cards. LOVE the colouring on kraft…always a winner in my books. As to tips on using acetate? Sorry can’t help there…never tried it. I have some ready to use…but I haven’t been game!

  4. Fabulous trio of cards! I love them all. I’ve never stamped on acetate, so no tricks to share. You were so clever in how you used that stamp. Someone gave me the same stamp for Christmas and I haven’t inked it up yet. You’ve given me some great ideas!

  5. These are great Theresa I love the way you stamped and coloured the last one……can’t wait to try that for myself!

  6. You clever girl…love how you’ve used this one stamp in three ways!
The row of hearts really pop on your first card and stamping on acetate is a brave technique to do…I use promarkers but have never tried them on acetate so no hints I’m afraid 🙂

  7. Love these cards Therese. You are definitely inspiring me to pull out that stamp and do something different with it!! I love how you pulled out the two purple flowers and the colors of the last one are great! You PDC card is too cute – I’m trying to wrap my brain around that one this weekend. Can’t wait to see more cards from your class!!

  8. What a great collection of cards! Love the first one with all of the sweet little hearts and the single purple one…cute!

  9. Therese, it’s so nice to see you back! Hope you’re enjoying that clean and simple class. I’ve seen this elsewhere on the web. Is it fun?

Love the single purple heart among the richer wine colored ones. So classy!
