Enjoy the Ride… double the challenge!

I wanted to make a card for ‘fun’!  So I just checked out a couple of my fave challenges and combined them to create this.  CAS-ual Fridays is having an ‘On the Red Carpet’ challenge where one of my best blog friends is the Guest Designer, Go team Marion!  My card was inspired by ‘Herbie’ (The Lovebug), he was such a hero in our house that we had a pet galah named after him when we were kids!  I couldn’t resist joining Less Is More this week to celebrate their 1st birthday, what a fantastic challenge site Chrissie and Mandi have created, thank you for all your hard work over the past year.  This week it’s a colour challenge and it’s Aqua!

  1. This is a gorgeous card Therese… and thank you so much for your kind words about our challenge!
The layout of this card is perfect and the subtle shading under ‘Herbie’ is fab!
    Thanks so much

  2. Very cool Therese! We used to watch Herbie all the time when we were kids as well! Such a sweet blog friend you are. Love you card and your constant creativity!

  3. Gorgeous. I love your soft aqua. I also love your stamp placement. I think it’s a perfect design with the sentiment and car atop that line and the gentle shading beneath it.

I haven’t thought about the love bug since my childhood! We loved Herbie. 🙂

Thanks for visiting! I'd love to hear what you have to say.
