The Birthday Cow?

I’ve been diligently making my husbands’ birthday card…  and hiding it everytime he walks near, that’s when the kitten isn’t walking over my papers, or lying directly in the middle of my workspace or playing with my pens…  times sure are funny!

I decided to play with a couple of challenges, I was inspired by the current ‘Distress Mania’ at Lawnscaping Challenges and then I made a ‘simpler’ (I think I just made up this word) version for the challenge at CAS-ual Fridays ‘Jest for the Pun of it’!  Kathy from the The Daily Marker has this awesome tutorial on how to make a ‘moon’ using copics, I used distress inks for mine combined with copics, thanks for the fantastic lesson Kathy!

  1. You moooved me with your cards, Theresa! (Sorry couldn’t resist lol!) Love both the cards. Great take on CAS-ual challenge. Great sponging and the cow is adorable.
BTW: I am honoured that you asked to CASE my card 🙂 Cannot wait to see your version of it 🙂

  2. Both cards are adorable Therese! I can relate to your story of your husband walking by while you’re making his card. That has happened to me so many times! I keep a sheet of paper nearby to quickly hide the card!!!
