Welcome! It’s Friday and time for another challenge with AnnaBelle Stamps, and this week it’s, Say it With… Brown, Olive & Mustard. Not my usual ‘go-to’ colours, so definitely a challenge for me! To be honest, this card came together very quickly (not my usual style either).
Don’t forget to say hi to the other DT Belles, they are such an awesomely talented bunch, you can find them by their links on my sidebar. Also you should visit our social site Stamp, Embellish, Create as this week the Topical Tuesdays tutorial is by Sue K showing a few different ways to use your copics!
Happy Birthday - DetailHappy Birthday
I am entering this card in the current Less Is More Challenge – Don’t Scrap It! It fit’s the bill as both the panel and card base are ‘saves’… ie. if you took the time to look under the panel there is a stamped image that I wasn’t happy with on the card base! It’s also time for another ‘Anything Goes’ Challenge at Simon Says Stamp!
Other Supplies: Recycled Cardstock. Copics – Y26. YG95.
– We post our challenges every Friday at 12:00pm AEST (AEDT during Daylight Savings).
– Each challenge runs for a week, and will close on the Friday 10.00am so that we can announce and showcase our weekly winners prior to the next challenge.
– Each weeks winner will receive our special blinkie to display on their blog and a $10.00 Gift Voucher to spend in store at AnnaBelle Stamps (or something equivalent).
How To Play Along :
– Copy and save our challenge banner and include it and a link back to the ABS blog in your post if you have a blog.
– Please link directly to your entry not just to your blog or gallery.
– Please don’t link to postings made prior to the date of our current challenge. All projects submitted must be new.
– A maximum of 7 challenges may be combined including this one.
– You may enter any of our challenges several times as long as each submission is with a new creation.
– We would love you to use AnnaBelle Stamps and embellishments, but you can play along without using them, it’s all about sharing ideas 🙂

Stunning card Therese! Love how you got the images to show up so brightly on the dark background!
Oh wow what a gorgeous pop of colour on those delicate flowers! S striking on the card base…you have a great eye for using colour Therese :0)
Glad to see someone else that covers mistakes up to recycle card bases :0)

Your colouring just pops on the black cardstock – amazing! And way to use up the ‘scraps’ – I usually end up turfing at least the stamped portion of those…
I’d say you used these colors beautifully. Those flowers really stand out on that dark background. I don’t use heat embossing very often – did you color on top of the embossed image? It’s so striking.
I’m always using the backsides of paper I’ve messed up on, too. Hate to throw anything away. 🙂
Wow. Just give me a minute… I am speechless. I love this one. Took me a minute, but you embossed and then colored over the embossing right? What an amazing technique. Gorgeous.
this card is beautiful! I love the flower image you used, and how did you get it to heat emboss two different colors?? and very ingenious, to use your failed stamping underneath- I usually get frustrated and crumple things up when they don’t go right! LOL!

Beautiful card, Therese! I cannot believe how much the colors make it pop so well! Great job! ;D
This is so stunning Therese. Wow. Your colors are so vivid on your dark bg.
Oh wow! This is stunning! I love how the colours pop off the black!
Such a fun technique Therese. I haven’t tried colouring on embossing yet…another for the to-do list. Great card.
