Best Wishes with Twine at AnnaBelle Stamps!

It’s Friday and time for another challenge at AnnaBelle Stamps and this week it’s Say it With…  Twine! (ac068) This is so easy, especially with all the new wonderful twines that they have at the shop, go take a look, you won’t be able to resist!

I had a bit of fun with the twine and played with some french knots (from my cross stitching days) and had total fun with the looped edge!  My apologies in advance…  I know, I used the BBD7 again, and I promise I planned not to…  but I really couldn’t resist.  Don’t forget to say hi to the other Belles (links are in my sidebar), their creations are always amazing and make sure to join us at Stamp, Embellish, Create, this week I have a tutorial showing you a fun faux metal technique.

– Each weeks winner will receive our special blinkie to display on their blog and a $10.00 Gift Voucher to spend in store at AnnaBelle Stamps (or something equivalent).
How To Play Along :
– Copy and save our challenge banner and include it and a link back to the ABS blog in your post if you have a blog.

– A maximum of 7 challenges may be combined including this one.
– You may enter any of our challenges several times as long as each submission is with a new creation.
– We would love you to use AnnaBelle Stamps and embellishments, but you can play along without using them, it’s all about sharing ideas 🙂

  1. Wow Therese you rocked this challenge…what a fabulous sample. Oh I love love your loopy twine scallop border. That is sheer genius Therese. Love how you used twine for your flower stems. Love your cute little flowers.

  2. Eeek! This is awesome! I haven’t quite been able to master the French knot, so I’m really impressed with yours. 🙂 Great color combo and I love the way you used the twine in multiple ways. Awesome.

  3. Brilliant!! Love those teensy blooms (french knots…oh my, I have a lot of embroidery floss calling my name now…) and the loops on the side are unbelievably fussy and AMAZING! Loved your tutorial, btw, so well done – now I just have to get messy & MAKE something 🙂

  5. This is fabulous, Therese! Love how you used the twine in such different ways. The loops on the side are especially cool. 🙂

  6. Isn’t it strange how many card-makers used to do cross-stitch…this is much quicker though isn’t it :0) Those knots look amazing as flowers and the loopy border is brilliant :0)
