I couldn’t resist the chance to combine the current challenge at the Hero Arts Blog (they are celebrating Birthdays this month) with A Blog Named Hero who is encouraging us to ‘Dust ’em Off’. I totally adore this stamp and have hardly used it, I am wondering if it’s because it’s a woodblock and I store them separately and just miss the visual prompt when I’m chosing stamps to make a card. Then I started looking for a ‘happy birthday‘ sentiment & couldn’t believe that I didn’t have a Hero Arts one, until…. my prize arrived from the Hero Arts Blog (thank you, thank you, thank you) and I just had to use this stamp from Year Round Sentiments, what a fantastic set!

Other Supplies: Prisma Color Pencils – Yellowed Orange, Spanish Orange, Sepia, Dark Brown, Dark Purple, Parma Violet, Imperial Violet, Mulberry, Process Red, Limepeel, Apple Green, Spring Green, Chartreuse, White. Zva – Black Rhinestones.

Hope you had a fun weekend Therese! This card is scrumptious! The colors are so RICH and VIBRANT!!! Glad you’re having fun with your new Hero goodies. Mine just arrived last week and I’m itching to ink them up!
Therese, love the vibrant colours! I’ve got the same stamps but have not used them yet! They will definitely be used very soon 🙂
Love the gorgeous vibrant colours! Awesome how cutting apart that large image makes such a different impact. I don’t have many of the ‘big’ stamps but now I want to try that with them. And, can’t believe I forgot to tell you congrats on that win! And I saw one over at Lily Pad this morning too 🙂 Way to go!
Gorgeous bold colouring and I love the depth of shading – LOVE it 🙂

Hmmmmm I could possibly ‘dust off’ a zillion stamps lol!! I thought you had masked this but I love the stamp and what you have done ( along with the vibrant colours too) gorgeous!!
These colours kick ass and I love the way you cut up the images from that stamp. Also really love the touches of glitter and gems. I have that stamp too and I don’t think it’s ever seen ink. *Hanging head in shame*
