Here’s a quick card that I made just having some fun playing with distress inks and water. I was inspired by Andrea at AnnaBelle Stamps Community, you can see her video tutorial HERE! I really wanted to play with the CASology ‘Bird’ challenge, how much fun is this idea (although last time I trouble uploading my card, cross my fingers I can work it out this time, I’m sure it’s user error…). I used a sketch from this months Hero Arts August challenge, yes I know, I think I’m becoming a sketch girl!

Other Supplies: Prisma Pencils – Orange, Yellowed Orange, Spanish Orange. Googly Eyes. Desert Sand – Memento, Frayed Burlap – Distress Ink.
What a fun card!
How sweet is that little owl!… love his google eyes and your water colour background is gorgeous 🙂
As a fellow sketch convert *giggle* it’s really practice makes perfect, isn’t it? There are still some that make me shake my head, but I feel more comfortable with them now. I no longer get palpitations, anyway.
Love the woodgrain perch, and the gorgeous inked panel – must remember to try using that instead of layers of paper. It’s absolutely stunning!
Love the watercolouring – my favourite colours! Thanks so much for playing along with CASology this week!
