Warm fuzzies at Play Date Cafe!

It’s been so long since I’ve had a chance to play along at the Play Date Cafe and today I needed a quick card for my niece who is having surgery next week, so I knew exactly where to go for inspiration.  Of course it’s yet another gorgeous combination of colours, and what better time to play with my (nearly new) TAWS stamps – Gotta Bug?

BUT first of all I had to find the ‘flock’, I wanted to create one of those ‘fluffy’ hot water bottles (you know, like the one my grandmother had)……  I knew it had to be somewhere…..  oh, and then I had to google how to use it..   yes, it’s really been that long!  Thanks for stopping by!

Fuzzies – Detail

Other Supplies:  Copics – R81, G40, C0.  Flocking Fibre – Rose Pink (The Stencil Specialists)

  1. gah, hit enter too soon. I hate that! I love the fuzzy on the hot water bottle – that is too adorable, and too perfect for get well wishes. Good luck to your niece next week 🙂

  2. Fabulous, Therese – perfect flocking too – I never have much luck getting it as even as this 🙂

  3. I had to laugh when I read about your long lost flock LOL! I stumbled across mine a couple of days ago and I though “I must use that soon” 🙂 FAB card Therese!

  4. You know, I have flock and have NEVER used it, nor do I know how. Lol. This is absolutely fantastic and oh so clever! I do know those fuzzy bottles and it is just perfect for a get well card.
