Wow – love this sticky bark! the wood tone is lovely for a sympathy card – wonderful die cut stem too!
Love that sticky bark! beautiful card
Oh….this is lovely. You seriously have to do a tutorial for this. Seriously am in love with this.
Oh my that’s gorgeous!
This sticky bark looks so real. Thanks for sharing – another fab card.
This is just sooooo beautiful!
It’s spot on for this sketch. I love this current trend with dies, inlaying the alternate colour – looks great with this combo too:)
Gorgeous card, Therese! I love the tone-on-tone stem and woodgrain background!
You are rockin’ the sticky barc…I have never heard of it, but it looks like a whole lot of fun. Great card.
Wonderful card!! I love the sticky barc, such a great idea!!
What a perfect card for a sad occasion x
Beautifully elegant – love the sticky barc, the silhouette, and the simple twine bow. Perfect for the occasion.
I was so much inspired yesterday by your card that I had to try it out myself. 🙂 First I tried it with real wood (veneer??) but it cracked/broke unfortunately. Then I went to a German DIY store and bought some sticky wood pattern paper (don’t know the exact name in English). It comes only in a roll but that’s ok, I sticked it on paper first.
Although it is not real wood I like the result very much and I will look here in Germany for other “wood papers”.
So, thanks again a lot for this great inspiration!!

I’ve not tried ‘real wood veneer’ yet, but I’ve heard that you can die cut with some of the thinner ones, I must keep an eye out. To use ‘contact’ that’s what we call it here, was pure genius! (it’s something we used to cover our books with at school when we were kids)
Thanks for your kind comment,
Happy Papercrafting!
Loving this inlaid wood look so much!!! Such a beautiful and sophisticated card.
Another gorgeous design for the wood paper…love the natural look :0)
