This month the challenge is Spring is in the Air and I just had to play with some fabulous stamps from Hero Arts & Flourishes.
Gotta say that this is not my fave colour combination and when I think about it maybe it’s the fact that my school uniform was dark green and bright yellow and I wore it for way too many years…. I don’t mind how this card turned out but you can’t love everything you make right, I’m thinking maybe in different colours?

From here you are heading to the Scrapbook Boutique Blog, thanks for joining us, it’s been so much fun!
Other Supplies: Prismacolor Pencils – Yellow Ochre, Lemon Yellow, Olive Green, Limepeel, French Grey 50, 70%.
I think your card looks beautiful in yellow and green, however I can understand your aversion to it (school uniforms will do that). I love your background and the single butterfly is just beautiful, Therese!
Hi Therese, wow this looks great. I was never a yellow girl but it has slowly grown on me – its such a happy, bright colour. Great card. xo
Stunning card Therese! Love these large background flowers.
Beautiful! And GREAT design – as always!!!
Hugs, Karin
Lovely card. I like the colour, but my uniform was blue! Thanks.
Gorgeous card!
A beautiful card – I love the technique you have used, I will defiantly have to give that a go! Thanks for sharing
gorgeous stamped background… love this card..
Gorgeous card Therese! Love your stamped images and your butterfly. You are always so inspiring!
I really enjoyed looking at your card, it is really well done
Beautiful card, I love the yellow flowers
What a great card I love the design. x
Love the interest you have created with the two different styles. My uniform was brown – never wear it now (brown, that is – too old for the uniform and too fat!). To me yellow is always spring.
Fabulous card, love it
LOOKS FABULOUS dressed in any colours!!!!!
Another gorgeous card…Love all your work…I always want to go and make something after I’ve seen what you’ve created!!!
Oh wow, this is so beautiful. Love the colors and the great design. Beautiful images. You could enter this in this weeks challenge over at Loves Rubberstamps!
wow, love the yellow stamped flowers, great card,
It looks great Therese – love the coloured panel underneath. Very creative 🙂
Yellow isn’t my favourite colour either, but I think your gorgeous card has changed my mind. I’ll use it more often if my cards turn our as fabulous as yours.
What a wonderful look! Some colored, some not – it’s stunning!
I had that background stamp in my hands at the store the other day but didn’t buy it. I love what you did with it!
Gorgeous card Therese, I love the colours. Your bg is so effective, Cathy x
WOW…………..I adore what you have created. Your amazingly creative and I love seeing your posts pop up
Gorgeous card as always. The butterfly is perfect and I love the way I feel drawn to open the card. (And you’ve possibly explained my aversion to green on cards – my primary school uniform!)
I think it’s absolutely stunning! But then I didn’t have to wear that uniform 🙂 I especially love the lower layer coloured in!
Brilliant design and now I know of another way to use that stamp (I have It). Thanks for the inspiration.
Love how you made this card Therese and such a clever idea:) Fab use of the colours too – hugs xx
My uniform wasn’t yellow, but I still have an aversion to it..however, your card is gorgeous and it definately says spring. Great work.
Such a beautiful card, Therese. I love the yellow flower background and the cute butterfly.
What a neat idea to have the detail colouring on the inside of the card…it’s very effective use of this stamp. The butterfly is beautifully done as well. Thanks for the inspiration you share. Di
Awesome job (even if you don’t like the colours!!!) I love the two tone look. Very creative xx
