Make a Wish – Colouring ‘lightly’ with Inktense for POD (video)!

Today I thought I would get out the Inktense pencils as they have a little neglected since the whole ‘watercolour’ love affair began, but really aren’t they just another form of watercolouring…    so I had a thought, can I get the same light airy look with these pencils?   Initially I found Inktense a little intimidating but they really are quite easy to use and it’s great because if you are not happy with the result you can always wait for it to dry and add more colour!  I really like how it turned out.  I filmed as I went so you can watch the process.

You can see my video here or Watch it at Youtube.

  1. Gorgeous colouring for this sweet image…I so enjoy your videos they always inspire me to try something different…I love your shading with pencils, thanks for sharing.

  2. Absolutely beautiful, Therese – you are a master chef of colouring (amongst all your other creative talents) 🙂

  3. Oh, this is so darling, Therese! I love playing with my Inktense pencils, so I can’t wait to see your video…Thanks!

  4. Love how you coloured so lightly with these pencils. Check out my site on Saturday and you’ll see the other end of the spectrum. I went for the brighter, more naive style.

  5. I could watch you color all day, Therese! LOVE the addition of the Diamond Dust glitter–so pretty!

Thanks for visiting! I'd love to hear what you have to say.
