Today I thought I would get out the Inktense pencils as they have a little neglected since the whole ‘watercolour’ love affair began, but really aren’t they just another form of watercolouring… so I had a thought, can I get the same light airy look with these pencils? Initially I found Inktense a little intimidating but they really are quite easy to use and it’s great because if you are not happy with the result you can always wait for it to dry and add more colour! I really like how it turned out. I filmed as I went so you can watch the process.

brilliant. It would seem that it is so simple, but such mastery is difficult to achieve. A beautiful card, a great lesson.
