Very pretty card I do enjoy your ideas and love watching your videos, keep up the good work. I recently purchased the same Fiskars paper trimmer you use and I am getting a “feathered edge” on the underside of my paper and cardstock. Could you please tell me if this is a normal situation with this product. Thanking you, Sandy
Hi Sandy,
Thanks for your lovely comment. I have had the same problem with certain kinds of cardstock and when my blade was blunt, a good way to fix this is to run a pair of opened sharp scissors along the edge of the cut. Since I’ve changed across to the titanium blades it’s heaps better, but I also have a ‘roller’ blade Fiskars trimmer that I use as well, the blades seem to last much longer and it comes in handy when I’m too lazy to change the blunt blade lol.
I should take a peek at Fiskars site and see if there are any comments over there, I’ll let you know if I find anything.
Hope this is helpful, Happy Papercrafting!
Therese
Thanks for being so helpful and your quick response, I have changed my blade even though the other one was new, seems a little better, will keep using, it may just need “breaking in”. Once again thanks for your help, keep your videos coming they are really helpful. Sandy
totally gorgeous..
Once again a wonderful card and a great video! I love to watch you craft and listen to your calm voice!

Soooo pretty, Therese … the striped vase is perfect! Had a smile at your sentiment comment … glad it’s not just me that sometimes needs to choose a sentiment to fit into the space available! Anita 🙂
Lovely card Therese. I like those dies that create the decorative edge.
