Big things are happening at Muse this week, it’s their 100th challenge and Michele has her Designer debut card and it’s brilliant! I am so happy that I found a minute to make a card and join in the fun. I was inspired by her idea to ‘Accentuate the Negative’ but lucked out on the song lyrics….. I suppose I could have tried Happy Birthday to you, but I thought that was a little lame lol.

Here is Michele’s card… love the white on white look, mine’s just a little brighter.

I would also like to share this card with Darnell’s NBUS challenge as this is the first time I’ve used these fab balloon dies from Penny Black. Thanks for another great challenge Darnell!
I’m back tomorrow with another video for Scrapbook Boutique so I look forward to seeing you then.
Other Supplies: Cardstock – Yellow, Blue.
Beautiful card – love the bright colors and those dies are fab!
I’m trying to resist buying a set of balloon dies Therese – you’re not helping me with this awesome card!! Looks fab!
Love your card. Those bright colors are great! Now I have to convince myself that I don’t need anymore balloon dies … but the heart one is so sweet. Sigh.
Fab card. I’m another that has been resisting balloon dies! 🙂
I cannot tell you how geeked I am to see this gorgeous card! Love the colors, the die cut… and happy birthday is the perfect song!! [Seeing MY name on your blog is the candle on the cake, Therese – I am your biggest fan, you know =] Michele

Wonderful, Therese … so bright and fun and celebratory! I’m hunting for some balloon stamps and dies (can you believe I don’t have any?!) … hmmm … more possibilities to add to the list! Anita 🙂
OMG, I made a card very like this for my niece this week (to be blogged after her birthday) – let me just say, love the colours and the big round window! Great minds for sure! So glad you could join in the fun this week, Therese!
Haha, I know that your niece will love it! Would you believe that when I sat back and looked at my card I thought to myself that I must have been channeling my inner Ardyth lol.
Great use of the negative space, very original!
Such a fun take on Michele’s Muse card, Therese! I love the stripes on the numbers and your color combo is fabulous! Awesome card, as always!
Such a clever take on Michele’s card – gorgeous fun, happy card!
Love the colours you have chosen to create with and the striped numbers are a perfect accent. Great arrangement too!
Your cards are always special and this one is no exception! LOVE it!
The balloons are fabulous – especially that huge window!
LOVE this – your colors are so fun!
Love how these bright colours pop on the white! Beautiful!!
LOVE this idea Therese . . . positive diecuts under negative die cuts! Terrific! Hazel x
Oh, Therese, you hit all the buzzers of my Love It Machine!! A big circle with the bright colored balloons peeking through would be sensational enough, but to make your circle into a balloon itself is pure genius!! Someone embarking on this milestone birthday is gonna be over-the-moon with this baby!! And it’s perfect for MUSE! Thank you so much for linking it also with my NBUS Challenge #3!! Hugs, Darnell
So crisp, clean and modern…..gorgeous!! Really love the colours you used and the idea of balloons inside balloons is genius!
Sort eye catching and inspirational.
Love it
