A tag card today and a video today using a beautiful poppy background stamp from Penny Black, I just love how the shading turned out and it was so easy to do! Also I’ve been having a little trouble die cutting the new Frosted sheets from Tim Holtz… any tips?
You can see my video here or Watch it at Youtube.

wow this card is gorgeous.. i love that adorable tag you added..
Beautiful choice of color with the gold.
This is gorgeous, Therese! Have you tried using an unscented dryer sheet folded & put on top of your paper, then the die and run it through? Things cut so much easier and it just pops right out! Works great and you can reuse the dryer sheets many times before tossing it.
Wow! You’re an artist! This is gorgeous!
The extra colouring adds so much to the image. Thanks for the tip. Do you need to leave extra drying time from original stamp image before colouring?
Wondering how you were getting on with the frosted sheets, other than using a shim or wax paper I have no ideas (I haven’t used this product). If you find a solution please let us know. Thanks for sharing another fabulous card.
Hi Vicki, I don’t think that I left the ink to dry any longer than it took me to sort out which colour pencils I used. These inks dry quickly but their colour does seem to improve over time… I didn’t really think about it, maybe I try leaving it a little longer next time. Thanks for your comment, hope you are having a great week, Therese.
Great thanks. Have a great week too – long weekend. Back to work for me next week.
Theresa, well I have no idea wh

ah thanks for sharing again.. am getting your videos now so nice to keep up and to hear an Aussie voice too Shaz in Oz.x PS have never heard of alley Way stamps .. are they an Aussie brand..?
Hi Shaz, Thanks so much for your lovely comment. The Alley Way Stamps (TAWS) have been round for a few years now and are a US company but ship to Australia without any problems. They have such fun stamps that always make me smile (and stamp beautifully too). I know, I know, so many stamps and so little time lol. Have a great day! Therese
Oh you totally changed the stamped image…love the delicate shading!!
Such a dreamy design :0)

Beautiful, Therese … the shading adds so much life and energy to those gorgeous poppies! Anita 🙂
Amazing what your coloring did to the depth of that stamp! Beautiful card, I love the tag on the card. Your design, although different than you thought, really turned out great!
This is so pretty, I love how little touch of shading over stamped image, adds so much to the beauty 🙂
Love your card – the tag is so pretty! You have reminded me that I have that stamp somewhere in my stash LOL – I hope your having a lovely long weekend – hugs xx
This is gorgeous, Therese! So soft and elegant! And I love your videos – you make coloring and shading look so easy. 🙂
Utterly gorgeous!! I have a metal shim for my Cbug which has helped immensely with tricky dies and thicker materials 🙂
So soft and pretty!
