Does watercolour get any easier than this? I think not, these Distress Markers are such an easy way to add colour… and I’m so trying not to ‘need’ every colour, really I am lol.
You can see my video here or Watch it at Youtube.

I created this card for the current Rainbow Challenge at Avery Elle…. Have you seen their new release, there are some real ‘have to haves’…. but didn’t I say I’m trying to be good? (wink)!
Other Supplies: Distress Markers – Squeezed Lemonade, Salty Ocean, Seedless Preserves, Mowed Lawn, Ripe Persimmon. Sizzix Impression Plate – Birthday Stripes. Kaisercraft Pearls – Denim, Lemon, Lavender, Pink, Bliss.
That is exactly how I like my ice cream, Therese… in a waffle cone! Oh to say I’ve loved this video is a complete understatement! We have the perfect ice cream stand close by… come visit!

Hi Therese, It was really great watching you achieve this fantastic card, a great card, love the colours and now I want one, The embossing die you used for the cone is great and I have never seen the impression? plates used before. Di B..
Fantastic card, love how you did the ice cream cone. I have so tried to resist the distress ink markers but I think its time to bite the bullet and get them. Between the two of us we really are struggling to be good. Have you got the Misti yet?????
No MISTI yet…. although I did have the decency to hesitate over it when I just ordered from SSS a couple of hours ago…. I think the rest of the stuff I ordered was naughty enough, consider it post night duty weakness and blame Paypal for being so easy to use lol.
YUM! Who wouldn’t want that ice cream. I can imagine the flavours – is that because it is almost dinner time?
Read your response to Aileen – I blame the ease of paypal too. I ordered somethings 8am Monday (a certain sale) and they were in my parcel locker 10ish Tuesday. I couldn’t have got to a bricks and mortar shop any quicker! I have a few carts I am umming and arring over too 🙂
this is so fun..
You are so creative, Therese! I love how you water colored the ice cream scoops and the embossed cone is fabulous!
I just read your note to Aileen…You are going to LOVE your MISTI!!! I hope it gets to you soon 🙂
Here’s the scoop – your card is fabulous! Love the scrumptious pastel colors those distress markers make!
