A quick share with some cards that I made just for fun (a little while ago). The cape was a direct CASE from the amazing Julia Alteman, who when it comes to inspiration, she has got it going on! and I also thought I would try out creating my own background, and this came directly from the amazing Sandy Allnock, whom I bow to for her colouring ability and vision!

There are just so many techniques to try and so much crafty fun to be had, I keep telling my husband that I need more time…. but alas no, he says I still have to go to work.
Other Supplies: Cardstock – Dark Grey. Copics – T0. Co,1,5,9. YG00,03,25. E000,11,33,29,37. Prismacolor Pencils – Warm Grey 20,70%, Sand. Chalks.
Therese, surely its time to retire from work-land and craft full-time. Doesn’t he understand priorities. 🙂 love both these cards. Looks like lots of work but certainly well worth the effort.
such a great card!
Fantastic cards Therese, the backgrounds are so clever. Beautifully coloured as always, Cathy x
Your background is really gorgeous, Therese! I love the colors and your blending is flawless! I also really love how you created the spotlight on the 2nd card…Great job with your pencils and how you created such a cute ‘scene’!
Oh who listens to their husbands? =] I know I’d love to see more, and more … these are darling little inspired cards, Therese … LOve the spotlight!

These are absolutely DA BOMB, Therese! Your cards inspire ME and I need to try some of these techniques!
Hugs!
Cute cards. Love the coloring.
It’s a bummer when life gets in the way of “crafting”….love the cards.
I love both of these cards Therese! The spotlight is amazing, but I’m also really loving the city skyline and the beautiful blend of colours through there – simply stunning! Thanks as always for passing on YOUR awesome imagination and inspiration!

Fabulous cards.
Fun cards! I’m in awe of Sandy as well. But you are BOTH so inspirational. Thanks for sharing. (Perhaps you could do some tutorials using some of these techniques??? Pretty please…with sugar on top…NO! Chocolate!!!) 🙂
These are so cute!! I love that background through the cut out in the first one.
I just love that city background showing through the Wham explosion. Great cards!
Fabulous hero cards, Therese!
Such fun cards! Love the spotlight, the capes, the colouring and that background view! Thanks also for directing us to the two talented ladies who inspire you – I had not seen Julia before, but your are right – she is amazing, as is Sandy. Of course, you are up there with them 🙂
Super cute super hero’s, Therese … and awesome backgrounds … they’re both brilliant! On needing more time … how about a pause button so we could all have a card making day in between Saturday and Sunday … that’d help! Hugs, Anita 🙂
Great superhero cards! Love the bacgrounds you did!! I think you should stop working and make cards for us all day… No problem for me to call your husband and explain him the urgency of this… 😉
Love both of them… and you didn’t just try, you MADE your own, splendid background. Two really fun cards! Love them both!
Awesome cards – such sweet superhero images. My daughter would LOVE the cat one! Fabulous 🙂
Your card designs are amazing! Both cards are awesome and will go into my case file.
SUPER awesome, both cards!!! I love that spotlight though, that is way cool.
