Video : Playing with my Gansai Tambi Watercolours!

So happy to be playing with my new Kuretake Gansai Tambi and I think it’s time for a watercolour class (or two).   I was in two minds whether to share this, as it’s not my fave card but literally it’s the first time I’ve added water to paints so thought I would share it anyway.

You can see my video here or Watch it at Youtube.

This card was inspired by this awesome card from Larissa Heskett Designs, I adore the shaker bag, it’s genius!  And a big thanks to everyone with their wonderful ideas about which watercolours to buy, the advice was greatly appreciated.

  1. You are so cute! I love this card! I have the set of water colors that is one down from this because I was impatient when I bought mine. I wish I had the metallic colors along the bottom.

  2. Yaaay I hope you have fun with them. I need to get mine out again. My Zigs have taken over the last few weeks ha ha – you know how that happens huh. :))

  3. So glad you did share Therese – a fab card and those paints look so tempting! Enjoy your new tools – they have gone to a good home!

  4. Love how you put the goldfish in the bag! I bought some for the pond this way last year. I think watercolor is the perfect medium for this fish

  5. Oh this is cute and fun! You should link this up to CASology this week… “sillly” is the cue card there. Great video, and I really enjoyed your watercoloring. I’m still learning… Love this funny card.

  6. Well I think your card is adorable! So you caved and bought the watercolours? I got some birthday crafty money last week and I can’t decide whether to get the Gansai or go for the Zig brush markers. Such big decisions to be made! I look forward to more videos and hearing your thoughts on the Gansai.

  7. I’ve found that sometimes ‘just playing around’ nets the best cards because you do things with a freer hand. This one is adorable.
