Video : Keeping it in the Pink & Gold at TAWS!

Back with a very CAS card for TAWS.  I’ve had (been hoarding) this pink design paper forever…  seriously forever and today I challenged myself to use it and the only think I could think to add was gold, so I did.  then came the dilemma how to add the sentiment….

You can see my video here or Watch it at Youtube.

  1. I can see why you’ve hoarded this pink paper! I’ve got some blue ‘bumpy’ paper that looks like my grandson’s baby blanket, so I know what you mean! Love this sweet card!! The funny bird on that elegant paper, and embossed acetate?!! Very cool. Thanks for sharing your video too. I will have to try this technique.

  2. Hi Therese! I LOve that pink paper, and would have hidden a bit of it myself! You will also have all of us hitting the market for your gorgeous acetate. Darling, fabulous card!

  3. This is stunning, Therese! Too bad my computer is on super-slow mode right now, or I’d watch the video now. Guess I’ll see it later. Gorgeous paper and darling bird…LOVE how you did that sentiment!

  4. Absolutely amazing Therese – great video too! I really appreciate all your videos, they are so very informative and enjoyable to watch 🙂

  5. Such a cutie, Therese … that quilted paper definitely merits being hoarded … it’s fabulous! Love that patterned acetate too … it’s gone onto the wish list … thanks for being such a great enabler!! Hugs, Anita 🙂

  6. You are definitely pushing the boundaries with this card – embossing on textured paper – wow! Love the way you show the challenges and how you solve them – so so helpful! A very cute card!

  7. Awesome video Therese, thanks! Great design to your card as always, and now some new techniques and products for us to try!! You are such a clever chickie!!

  8. I am amazed that stamped out so well on the embossed card Therese – great stuff. Thank goodness for acetate at times like this I agree. I grabbed some Hot off the Press Heat Resistant Acetate especially for heat embossing so I don’t stress about melting it lol. Such a sweet card!

  9. Therese brilliant card. Love that pink paper it made me think of the new 3D embossing folders we are seeing around at the moment. And the sentiment on the acetate, sooooo clever. I was using captions over on you tube, you should check them out. Sometimes they crack me up what gets interpreted is no where near what you so. Lucky I know what you are talking about.

    1. Yes, I’ve seen the captions at Youtube and I think there is someone naughty there, lol. Thanks for the visit, I think I’ll have to try captions on again, just for a giggle!

  10. Therese I also love you videos and find them very helpful but I cant seem to fin anywhere that sells that stamps set and I have to have it.Have you any hints on where I can try please. Thanks again
    Hope

  11. I love that quilted look paper, Therese. It made a fabulous background for that bug-eyed bird. Thanks for the hint on embossing acetate, too.
